SHIPPING COSTS
The reality is that soda in glass bottles is really heavy. And fragile. So getting your soda to you safely is really expensive. We’ve invested in high quality shipping boxes and have decided to subsidize the cost of shipping significantly. We’re charging a flat rate of $12 per 12-count box of soda for shipping anywhere in the United States. (Our 4-pack sampler has a flat shipping charge of $8.)
Depending on where you are in the US, getting that box of soda to you will cost between $6 and $12 above that $12 charge. We understand that the cost of shipping is high, and as we continue to build Abbina Soda, we will be seeking ways to minimize these costs. Our goal here is to be transparent. When we buy products online, we’re always looking for free or low cost shipping. So we understand that this charge may be a deterrent to you buying our soda. We hope that you understand our pricing structure simply reflects the realities of our own costs, and that no matter how much soda you buy, no increased volume of sales would ever cover the very high cost of shipping such a heavy product. That’s why we can’t offer free shipping for larger purchases.
SHIPPING TIMELINE
We are shipping our packages by UPS or Fedex. If you’re in the Northeast, you’ll likely receive your package one or two days after it ships. On the West Coast, your package may take a week to get to you.
We will strive to get your package to the shipper within 2 business days of your order. As a brand new company and handing fulfillment ourselves, please understand that there may be some delays.
